How it began

A Friend in the City started with a simple idea: that the best way to see a place is with someone who already belongs there. What began as Silvia showing friends her Spain has grown into a bespoke travel house across Spain, Portugal, France and Morocco.

How we work

We don't sell packages because we don't see tourism as a product but as a service. Every journey is built from scratch around you, through a network of locals who open doors that stay closed to everyone else. Personal, private, and shaped entirely by what you love.
